Valerie is here to assist consumers through the entire MELA application process. She is an invaluable resource to the MES operations in her role of overseeing the flow of the online application process. She is not only here to assist with any technical needs the borrower may have, but she patiently explains credit decisions to borrowers, offering alternative solutions when appropriate. She assists borrowers in all aspects of the loan life cycle from origination through repayment and collections.

Pat always puts the customer first, showing the highest degree of courtesy and sensitivity to their needs. Her ability to shift to the operations call center allows her to respond to borrower and school questions during peak season. In addition to serving MELA clients, Pat coordinates the Maine Medical Education Foundation Program. Pat believes service comes easy when you work for a company, like MES, where they offer great products and services you believe in.

Kim is a strong advocate for taking ownership of an issue, be it as simple as a school setup request or dealing with a borrower research issue. She and her team are dedicated to ensuring borrower, school, and client questions are answered accurately by MES rather than redirecting the call to another entity. Her customer service focuses on listening and responding to what schools and families need through various mechanisms such as site visits, client meetings, borrower surveys, and staff feedback.
